Comedy: Ada Campe and the Psychic Duck

Tuesday 2 July  8:00pm      The Croft Hall

Sometimes it’s the most unexpected and delightful moments that shape your future. Join award-winning variety artiste Ada Campe and her Psychic Duck for a show about wonderful women, strange encounters and a fairground mystery. ‘Ada Campe made me laugh more than anyone on the circuit for years. Genius. (Sandi Toksvig). ‘Extravagantly mischievous persona… A real original’ ( ‘Resembles an unhinged super-villain’ (DIVA). ‘Very very funny’ (Edinburgh Magic Circle). ‘Sorcery wrapped in the kind of storytelling that would make Scheherezade jealous’ (Kate Copstick).

Not suitable for under 12 years. There will be audience participation.

Friday 5 July  8:00pm      The Croft Hall

"Motherhood" is a hilarious and insightful exploration of life as a new parent. Tara Newton-Wordsworth has two children under two (yes, she has heard of contraception…) and in her highly anticipated debut hour she delves into the mad world of ‘parental advice’, explores the crazy things all new parents do, and looks at how her life has changed forever - all culminating in the epic journey that is ‘Motherhood'.

As the old saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child… so someone offer to bloody-well babysit because Tara really needs a break.

“Hilarious ★★★★★” (The Sun).
